# ConnectionTestStepOutcome

The verdict on one named step of a merchant binding connection test.

## Values

| Value | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `Passed` | The step ran and the thing it checks is good to go. |
| `Failed` | The step ran and the thing it checks is not usable as configured. |
| `Skipped` | The step did not run, because a gate is closed or an earlier step made it moot. The result says nothing about what it would have found. |
| `Warning` | The step passed, and the detail is worth reading before trusting the configuration. |
