# CreateWalletPaymentSessionInput

A model the API reference uses in a request or a response. The operation pages link every field typed as this model here.

Provider-agnostic input for "create a wallet payment session". Apple Pay needs
this: when Apple Pay JS raises `onvalidatemerchant`, the gateway requests a
merchant session from Apple. A wallet that does not issue server-side sessions
(Google Pay) returns "operation not supported by this provider".
            


The caller supplies only the merchant being checked out on plus the chosen
provider type. The server determines which wallet provider registration applies
from the wallets bound to that merchant.

## Fields
- `providerType` ([WalletProviderType](https://devportal.demo.winkpg.io/docs/api/models/WalletProviderType.md)): Defines the supported wallet provider types used for payment tokenization.
  Values:
  - `Unknown`: Unknown wallet provider.
  - `ApplePay`: Apple Pay wallet provider.
  - `GooglePay`: Google Pay wallet provider.
  - `NetworkToken`: Network tokenization provider (Visa, Mastercard etc).
  - `Paze`: Paze (Early Warning) wallet provider.
- `merchantId` (string(uuid)) required: Identifier of the merchant the shopper is checking out with. The server reads this merchant's `DigitalWallets[]` to resolve  which `WalletProviderRegistration` row to use; the resolution may land  on a platform-level row (merchant inherits) or a merchant-level row  (merchant brought its own integrator), depending entirely on what the  merchant has bound.
- `validationUrl` (string) required: Provider-supplied validation URL (Apple Pay JS supplies it via  `onvalidatemerchant`; the controller MUST NOT substitute it). Conditional: When IsValid(ValidationUrl) is true. (nullable)
- `initiativeContext` (string) required: Fully-qualified initiating domain. For Apple Pay this is the  `initiativeContext`; must be one of the merchant's verified domains. (nullable, max length 256)
