# DeviceData

A model the API reference uses in a request or a response. The operation pages link every field typed as this model here.

Represents data related to a device in a transaction.

## Fields
- `sdkVersion` (string): The version of the SDK used by the device. (nullable)
- `serialNumber` (string): The serial number of the device. (nullable)
- `batteryLevel` (integer(int32)): The battery level of the device. The value is nullable to accommodate devices that may not report battery level. (nullable)
- `isEncrypted` (boolean): Value indicating whether the device data is encrypted.
- `encryptionType` (string): The type of encryption used for the device data, if applicable. (nullable)
- `encryptionKeyVariant` (string): The DUKPT key variant the reader used to encrypt the card data: `Data` for the data variant or `Pin` for the PIN variant. Both variants derive from the same base key, so the decryption service needs to be told which one applies before it can decrypt. (nullable)
- `cvmResults` (string): The EMV Cardholder Verification Method (CVM) result reported by the device. Values: "1" = Offline PIN, "2" = Online PIN, "3" = Signature. Used as a fallback when EMV tag 9F34 is not present in the chip data (e.g. some Ingenico/Discover contactless flows). (nullable)
