# EntityScopeKind

A model the API reference uses in a request or a response. The operation pages link every field typed as this model here.

The scope a record applies to: a single merchant, a reseller, or the whole tenant. The
server uses this value to decide which callers can see the record.

## Values

| Value | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `Merchant` | Row applies to a single merchant. MerchantId must be non-null. |
| `Reseller` | Row applies to a reseller and (by entity-specific semantics) its descendants. ResellerId must be non-null. |
| `Tenant` | Row applies tenant-wide. Visible only to unscoped (admin) callers. |
