# InvoiceSourceType

A model the API reference uses in a request or a response. The operation pages link every field typed as this model here.

Optional metadata indicating how an invoice was created.
Set by the calling consumer, not enforced by the invoicing module.

## Values

| Value | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `Manual` | Manually created by a user. |
| `UsageBilling` | Generated from usage billing data. |
| `RecurringBilling` | Generated from a recurring billing contract. |
| `Api` | Created via API by an external integration. |
