# PromotionDiscountType

How a promotion's value reduces the amount it is applied to.

## Values

| Value | Description |
| --- | --- |
| `Percent` | A percentage of the amount, for example 10 meaning 10%. |
| `Flat` | A flat amount in the promotion's currency, for example 5 meaning 5.00. |
