Classifies a refund transaction by its origin relative to a prior approved transaction.

Values combine: send one or more member names separated by a comma and a space, or the integer sum of their values. Responses carry the names.

Not a refund, or kind has not been classified. Default for all non-refund transactions. |

A refund run as a follow-up action against a previously approved and settled original transaction. The refund is a new transaction in its own right and flows through the normal auth + settlement pipeline, but carries a reference to its parent via OriginalTransaction and debits the parent's refund capacity. |

A standalone refund with no parent transaction in the gateway. Submitted directly as a Return transaction without an OriginalTransaction reference. Flows through the normal auth + settlement pipeline with no capacity tracking against any prior transaction. |
